Eastern Mountain Range establishes an innovative platform for users to experience and explore the wilderness. We operate this service from the greater metropolitan area of Charlottesville, Virginia, and serve wilderness enthusiasts across the Appalachian Mountain physiographic region of the United States.
Our platform encompasses one physiographic division composed of seven provinces and twenty-one sections within twenty contiguous states. It empowers wilderness enthusiasts to navigate a unified platform of wilderness recreation, stewardship, and culture and explore a map through unique markers of pins and places. It engenders certainty within the wilderness by guiding users through experiences based on community exploration. Our community experiences the wilderness through routes and monuments for recreational pins and drinks and eats for cultural places, including stewardship of terrain, movement, and access throughout the mountainous landscape. Our users create moments, change moments into memories, organize experiences, rate activities, and compare experiences through community ratings within the platform.
